The wedding institution has knew during the past years a progressive crisis that has deeply modified his importance on the base of social life. The motivations are many. The church is loosing believers. The family is no any more a productive unit; his economy, the education and training of children are outside. The women become emancipated. The wedding is no more assuming his function of passing rite from original family to new couple; it is growing with new tasks and meaning. The conjugal scene recur, every couple make up new conditions of the common life, giving new contents to the ritual. Weddings are good opportunities to understand the societies evolution and to catch people when is playing the best personification of himself. The first role is for the bride; she is the most charged of costume, she is the centre of all the ritual stage, she is the object of sacrifice to consolidate the group ties.
